Vanquish Insomnia the Unconventional Way. (And sleep like a puppy.)

The issue of insomnia is near and dear to my heart because of my fifteen year relationship with it which often left me cranky, crying and dim.

This is Part 1 of a multi-part series on what worked for me to cure my chronic insomnia.

Over the next three weeks, I’ll share some sleep hacks that haven’t made it into the mainstream literature, but have definitely worked to have me sleeping like a puppy for the last six months.

OMG, it feels sooooooo good (to wake up refreshed, with more energy and not having my first thought every day be about how fast I can get the coffee made).

Step Away from the Black Hole, please.

It happened like it so often does…a random comment from a friend in my coach training. She mentioned a particular episode of the Bulletproof Radio podcast, so I looked it up.

But my friend had misremembered the episode. Instead of tuning into an interview that she found meaningful, I tuned into a new philosophy of health and nutrition that shifted my own paradigm of what “healthy” means.

It felt like finding out the world is, in fact, round, in spite of what conventional wisdom says.

World. Rocked.

Just when I needed it, too, because six months ago I found myself on the edge of a slippery slope health-wise.

With one foot on a banana peel.
